Guido Mansdijk Talen(t) is dedicated to language teaching, translation & interpreting.
Lic. (Drs.) G. Dijkman has been teaching Dutch as a Second & Foreign Language (NVT & NT2) since 1993. As a self-employed language consultant (ZZP'er), he currently teaches at VU-NT2, ROCVA and is proud to be part of a yearly series of workshops 'Seminarium' organised by the Nederlandse Taalunie, since 2010. He is fond of teaching communicative language skills at European Frame of Reference (CEFRL) levels A0-C1. Apart from Dutch, he also teaches English and Indonesian.
Translations (certified) include Dutch, English, Indonesian & Italian (active/near-native knowlegde), but also French, Spanish & German (basic knowledge). Godi specialises in subjects related to education, nature conservation, the environment and international humanitarian aid, and is keen to assist NGOs where he can.
Close contacts with Indonesia have resulted in research on a number of subjects: the Greater Bird-of-Paradise in Aru (Moluccas), a performance of the ancient story of Calon Arang (Bali) and publications on the history, culture and nature conservation on the island of Nusa Penida (Bali). Other topics include historical research on Dutch Golden Age painter Servaes Nouts, Latin & Roman Civilisation and archaeology.
